The Bag Lady Tour is coming up! This annual open house will take place Friday, Saturday, Sunday April 26-28 and May 3-5 with many businesses participating in this event from Wellington, Oberlin, New London, Spencer, and Homerville.
The Shops on the Country Bag Lady Tour this year include Hook’s Greenhouse, Days of Yore Herb and Flower Farm, All Ohio Train and Toy, The Platinum Petal, Quilting Shanty, Farmyard Flowers, Main Street Antiques, Honey Bee Treasures, Spencer Feed and Supply and Olde Carriage House.
This event is driving tour from one business to the next through the beautiful countryside. A flyer can be downloaded online at http://www.countrytourgroup.com or picked up at any of the participating businesses. The map provided on the flyer can be followed, but we recommend using google maps for directions instead. At each business a cheery employee or owner will stamp your flyer and give you a small gift! Here at Hook’s Greenhouse we give out a small plant. Every business does their own specials or may even have snacks! Watch out for the hidden wooden bag! If you find it then you will get gift card to spend at one of the shops.
When the flyer is completed, turn in at the last stop with the contact information filled in at the top. Every completed flyer gets entered into a drawing for a gift card. The first prize is a $25.00 gift card and the second prize is a $15.00 gift card. Children under 13 are invited to participate and are included in a children’s drawing for a $10 gift certificate.
Our event has been around for 20 years and has only been getting better with age! Your invited to enjoy the countryside and some amazing businesses hidden along the back roads. We can’t wait to see you!
