We made this bright cheery wooden barrel planter with fun early spring perennials and annuals. Planting perennials in your planters allows for cold hardy containers that when the timing is right can be planted directly in your perennial landscaping. Then add warmer summer annuals to the planter to allow for season-long color.
We took an old bread pan, added a light weight quality soil, then added one spider plant and one tradescantia to make a unique table top indoor house planter. Water as needed.
